My name is Chelsey Embry, and I am a published science fiction author. My novel, Inheritable Luminosity, explores themes of cosmic destiny, interplanetary mystery, and self-discovery. It is a science fiction book emphasizing identity, cutting-edge technology, and environmentalism from a female perspective.

While writing my novel, I recognized how limited a female voice can be in the genre. This inspired me to introduce women to an entirely new world of celestial magic so we can make science fiction more feminine. Although I love my planets and deep space, I also adore a dragon or two. This magazine will publish science-fiction stories, fantasy, and others that combine the genres.

Company Description:
Demigoddess Magazine is a science-fiction and fantasy magazine for females aged 18-35. An adult female over 35 will also be featured in each issue as an empowering woman of the future. Innovative and glamorous Las Vegas cosmetic and fashion trends will complement short stories and poetry based on female empowerment. Readers will enjoy the usual articles associated with fashion and beauty magazines and futuristic and feminine advertisements. Magazine concepts originate in Las Vegas, but my goal is to involve businesses from around the world. Demigoddess has a mission to make science fiction more feminine and wants to engage more female readers with feminine tech and cosmetic elements. Short stories will include female heroines who empower their readers, male main characters with book boyfriend potential, romantasy (romantic fantasy) stories and adult fairytales, magical worlds and planets, and classic science-fiction plots that are nature-based. This site will include exciting space art, creative writing, and engaging science-fiction and fantasy images for females.

SFF vs. Reality:
Demigoddess will reflect on how the reader relates to the SFF genre in their everyday lives. I will do this through interviews with models who pose as characters, asking the short story author, involving other females interested in participating, and creating a section for everyday looks. The magazine's chronological order will begin with a section called Life in this Dimension, featuring clothing styles and innovative makeup trends that emulate science fiction and fantasy. The SFF literary/art/beauty/fashion sections will appear afterward in the section Step into Our Realm.
